How I Use the Sukha App

I first became aware of the Sukha app from PKM Beth reviewing it, and was intrigued. But through the network of Medium writers I was put in touch with the founder of Sukha, and we had a video call where he walked me through how the app works and the benefits it provides. I decided to give it a shot.

It’s at its essence a productivity app. You start a timer, there are AI coaches that encourage you along, congratulate you when you complete your task, and announce your breaks. You can engage with other people in groups who are also getting things done, but it’s not necessary. It’s a very light social aspect, which I have found to be folks sharing they completed a task, and other folks giving them a thumbs up. Low key. You can even scan a QR code on your phone so the app nudges you if you pick up your phone when you should be working. Sukha also does some gamification by giving you a score when you complete a work session, and if that’s a motivator for you then it could better encourage you to get more tasks done.
