How Useful I Find the Twos App

One thing that’s been missing in my workflow is a daily note. I have found I really like having a “scratch pad” to put random thoughts and information, and even pivot into a journal a bit. I made attempts at doing one in Evernote in the past — I’d create a note for every month and add the day’s date to it and put in whatever I wanted — but it never quite met my expectations. Then Twos came along.

I’ve been using Twos on and off for close to two years. For a few months last year I contemplated moving away from Evernote, and spent a couple of months using different tools, and Twos came out on top. Twos doesn’t have everything I need, but it definitely scratches an itch. I’m not prepared to move into it full-time for all my PKM needs (I would need a Readwise plugin and a more reliable calendar sync before I think about doing that — and I am very attached to Web Clipper), but its main feature of a new daily page to drop in all the things I encounter and sort them as needed into lists has been incredible.
